Dr Tim Inglis
Dr Tim Inglis is a co-founder of Lab Without Walls and principal scientific advisor to the board. He is Head of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the University of Western Australia, and a medical microbiologist with PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA.
He has over a decade of experience deploying clinical laboratory services in remote, regional, rural and overseas settings, with an emphasis on emerging infectious diseases including tropical infections and antibiotic resistant sepsis. He leads a research and development team that have won multiple awards for developing clinical pathology tests, notably including the FAST method of testing antibiotic efficacy. Most recently, Dr Inglis has led the development and field trials of a mobile COVID-19 test method, now on standby for outbreak and surge response.
